Case Study: Buckeye Shapeform

Challenge: Buckeye Shapeform was losing revenue opportunities due to a skills gap that forced them to outsource welding work or decline bids. 

Solution: MEP at Columbus State created and delivered a customized, on-site welding training and certification program—totaling 224 hours across 8 months and supported by Ohio TechCred. 

Result: Five team members were upskilled, allowing Buckeye Shapeform to confidently bid on and win new client projects they previously had to pass on.
