Overview: The Electrical Certificate 1 program is designed to provide foundational knowledge and practical skills in AC/DC electrical systems and Control Relay. This program helps students build their electrical foundational knowledge, which can be applied in various workplace settings.
Program Structure:
Cohort Format: The training is conducted in a collaborative cohort format, allowing students to learn alongside peers and engage in group activities.
Blended Learning: The curriculum integrates e-learning with hands-on lab experiences, enabling students to balance online learning with practical application.
Curriculum Topics: Students will explore a range of subject areas, including:
- AC/DC Electrical Systems: Basics of electrical systems used for power and control.
- Electrical Circuits & Measurements: Fundamental principles of basic electrical circuits, electrical measurement, and circuit analysis.
- Inductance & Capacitance: Understanding of inductance, capacitance, combination circuits, and transformers.
- Electrical Control Systems: Introduction to relay logic control circuits and their applications.
- Control Logic Functions: Functions of logic elements (AND, OR, NOT, NOR, NAND) and the creation of ladder diagrams.
- Advanced Control Concepts: Study of electro-pneumatic solenoid valves, sequencing control, timers, time-delay relays, and multiple cylinder control.
Participants will have access to:
- Experienced instructors with industry knowledge.
- Collaboration opportunities with fellow students.
- Certificate upon successful completion of program.
