Are you looking to obtain the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to obtain meaningful employment in the in-demand fields of modern manufacturing? Please make plans to join us as we host students, faculty, staff, educators, policymakers, and employer partners for an evening dedicated to learning more about the future of Manufacturing and Logistics and how Columbus State’s long-standing Modern Manufacturing Work-Study Program can help students earn while working toward a degree, providing an opportunity to graduate debt-free, with experience in a high-demand field.

Modern Manufacturing Work-Study (MMWS)
Now recruiting for the 2021 cohort of the Modern Manufacturing Work-Study Program. Students interested in joining should complete the Request for Information Form.

Learn while you earn: Manufacturers have become modernization hubs – embracing sophisticated technology to improve efficiency and production, including software, automation, and robotics.
The Modern Manufacturing Work-Study Program (MMWS) combines classroom and lab-learning with the opportunity for a paid work-study position at a local industry partner. Work-study participants receive an average of $18/hour, helping them graduate debt-free.
Manufacturing Games
Manufacturing Technician is a math game for kids and students in grades 5-8 to learn what happens on the manufacturing line and troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing equipment. This activity ties to math and career exploration curricula. Follow a technician through a day, checking, testing and maintaining machinery.
